About Universal Preschool in Adams 14
Beginning in the 2023-2024 school year, all children who are four years old by Oct. 1, 2023, can attend Adams 14 Universal Preschool (full-day preschool) for free! Eligible children who are three years old by Oct. 1, 2023, may also be able to participate.
While the state of Colorado provides funding for half-day preschool (15 hours), Adams 14 offers full-day preschool at no cost to its families. Adams 14 believes that it is important to build a strong learning foundation as early as possible so that students can academically perform better throughout their school years.

Who is Eligible?
Children who will be four years old by Oct. 1, 2023, will be eligible to enroll in an Adams 14 Universal Preschool program. Three-year-old children with qualifying factors may also be eligible for preschool programming. Click here to learn more about qualifying factors for your children.
What Does Preschool Look Like at Adams 14?
Our preschool program is designed to prepare children for a lifetime of learning, and provide a seamless transition to K-12 education.
Our preschool program engages toddlers in daily schedules that provide structure to their day. Their daily routine involves ample playtime that incorporates learning opportunities for literacy, math, language acquisition, socioemotional skills, and motor development.
Adams 14 provides breakfast and lunch meals during a full day of its preschool program. Children also get scheduled outdoor playtime and naps during the day.
